Tower Server
What is a tower server?
The tower server is the most common type of server we can observe. Its appearance resembles a computer server but is larger because it has many slots necessary to expand the server’s functions. This type of server is often confused with the central processing unit, which looks very similar to a desktop computer.
Since second-hand Tower servers have a large chassis, we can configure multiple functions. This is why second-hand Tower servers are ideal for many applications.
Usually, we say that general-purpose servers are tower servers that can be used in various common applications. Whether it’s speed applications or storage applications, the tower server can be used. This type of server does not require much maintenance. Since data is stored in a single tower instead of being distributed across various machines, as in the case of multiple servers installed in a compartment, they are easy to identify both physically and within the company’s network.
